I am currently entering my thesis (third) year of graduate school at Columbia College Chicago in the Interdisciplinary Arts and Media MFA program.
The blurred edges that compose the intersection of art and science is where I find myself these days. Astronomy and quantum mechanics hold particular sway with me, astronomy for its larger concepts of the universe and quantum physics for its experimental procedures into the particular (ha! no pun intended!) fundamentals of our universe…which sounds redundant when I put it like that. But that is what those two fields of science have in common and those bonds are what I wish to explore through artistic means.
I also play bass, mostly jazz but it’s not strict by any means. It is, of course, only an instrument of expression. Music comes out of me in many forms, both aesthetically pleasing and experimental…not that the two are mutually exclusive.
I have two parents and one brother.
I am in love with my loving partner. Cheesy? I don’t think so.
